Pop star Katy Perry made a surprise appearance at Vogue magazines Vogue World event in Paris, turning heads in a daring and unforgettable outfit. The event, held on June 23rd to celebrate 100 years of fashion and sport in the City of Lights, featured a star-studded guest list including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and many more.

Perry stole the show in a Noir Kei Ninomiya dress featuring geometric cut-outs that revealed plenty of skin. The dress, described by Vogue as a "geometric naked dress," was balanced by floral details around the skirt.

In a behind-the-scenes video shared on TikTok, Perry playfully referenced Vogue's Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, jokingly stating her transformation into a model. She also took to Instagram, sharing a video where she interacted with fellow celebrities FKA twigs and Cara Delevingne. The trio shared lighthearted advice and encouragement before Perry's runway walk, with FKA twigs coaching her on posture and Delevingne suggesting a "tiger-like" walk.

Perry's fans showered her with praise on social media, with comments like "Katy Perry is Katy Perrying" and "it's Katy Perry's world and we're lucky to be living in it." The daring look garnered a significant amount of online buzz, with many fans expressing their admiration with comments like "what a SERVE" and "Mother is mothering."

Perry cleverly used the platform to tease her upcoming single, "Woman's World," set for release on July 11th. Both her TikTok and Instagram posts included snippets of the new song, further amplifying the excitement surrounding her appearance.

This year's Vogue World event, held at the famed Place Vendôme, partnered with youth sports academies across France. The runway show featured a unique blend of fashion and sport, with different athletic disciplines paired with French fashion that has a 100-year history. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Secours Populaire, a humanitarian organization that supports young athletes in France.
