Khloe Kardashian is experimenting with a new drug. The Kardashians star talked about how "no one likes a gatekeeper" when she traveled to Mexico for a Muse stem cell treatment.
In an Instagram post on August 27, Khloe stated, "I work out five days a week, so having something to help with recovery, inflammation, and overall wellness is next level." "Not to mention the added benefit of anti-aging, which is possibly my favorite benefit."
According to the Cleveland Clinic, stem cells—which have the capacity to self-renew and produce specialized cells—are currently being used to treat blood cancer and other blood disorders. There is still more research to be done on whether stem cells can treat or even cure other illnesses.
Khloe, 41, went on to say that receiving treatment with Muse stem cells, which is not yet authorized in the United States, gave her "a lot of hope for the future."
"One day, I hope that everyone, everywhere, will be able to afford and access treatments like this," she added. "I feel so fortunate that we were able to receive this treatment with such excellent care, and I am aware of what a privilege it is."
Kim Kardashian, Khloe's sister, revealed two weeks prior that she had also sought the treatment, citing its assistance in managing her own persistent back pain.
In her own Instagram post, she exclaimed, "I felt relief immediately, and the excruciating pain is finally gone." "I pray that the science advances further so that more people can benefit, and I am incredibly thankful for the chance and resources to pursue this healing."
However, the Kardashians maintain their youthful appearance and feel good thanks to more than just stem cell transplantation. Earlier this year, Khloe mentioned getting additional treatments after a doctor speculated about the cosmetic procedures she might have had done over the years in a video that was posted on Instagram. In a comment on the post, the Good American founder stated she’d had a nose job, Botox, and skin tightening before sharing some body positivity.
“In 2025 there are many other things we can do before surgery,” she wrote, “but when it’s time, and if I choose to, I know some great doctors.”
