The rapper and SNL host poked fun at backlash to his all-Spanish halftime show, calling it "a win for everyone, even Fox News."

During his Saturday Night Live monologue on Oct. 4, the Puerto Rican superstar addressed the controversy surrounding his upcoming Super Bowl LX Halftime Show — and he did it with his signature mix of humor and pride.

"I'm very happy, and I think everyone is happy about it — even Fox News," he joked, before a montage of edited clips from the network rolled, humorously declaring, "Bad Bunny is my favorite musician, and he should be the next president."

The audience erupted, and the Grammy winner leaned in with a grin: "I'm excited to do the Super Bowl because people all around the world who love my music are happy, too." Then, switching to Spanish, he added, "This is for every Latino and Latina who's ever opened doors in this country. It's not just my moment, it's ours. What we've built here, no one can erase."

To wrap his monologue, the "Tití Me Preguntó" artist threw one last playful jab: "If you didn't understand what I just said, you've got four months to learn."

The 31-year-old performer was announced as the official headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sept. 28. The event will take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on Feb. 8, 2026.

Bad Bunny previously hinted that the show would celebrate his culture unapologetically, a move that drew both applause and criticism. But as he made clear on SNL, the language barrier isn't stopping him from taking center stage.

"This moment goes beyond me," he said. "It's for my people, my culture, and our history.
