Blake Lively is seeking more than $160 million in damages in her ongoing legal dispute with Justin Baldoni, her It Ends With Us co-star and director. In recently unsealed court filings submitted in July and made public on November 5, Lively, 38, claimed to have suffered significant financial and reputational losses linked to what she described as a targeted smear campaign.

According to court documents reviewed by multiple outlets, Lively alleges she lost $56 million in past and future earnings from acting, producing, and public appearances, along with $71 million in business profits tied to her ventures Betty Buzz, Betty Booze, and Blake Brown Beauty. Her legal team further claimed she endured $34 million in reputational harm after "65 million negative impressions" about her circulated online. The figures, her attorneys noted, are preliminary and will be supported by expert testimony at trial.

Lively's lawsuit also includes claims for punitive damages, attorney fees, and compensation for emotional distress. The filing states that she has experienced "pain and suffering, physical pain, and humiliation," estimating this at between $250,000 and $400,000.

The Gossip Girl alum's legal action, first filed in December 2024, accuses Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios of creating a "hostile and discriminatory" work environment, engaging in sexual harassment, and conducting a retaliatory campaign that she says damaged her career. Baldoni has denied all allegations.

Her claims come after Baldoni's own defamation countersuit, valued at $400 million, was dismissed in June 2025 by U.S. District Court Judge Lewis J. Liman. The judge also threw out a related $250 million lawsuit Baldoni filed against The New York Times. Although Baldoni's team had until June 23 to amend their complaint, they chose not to, leading to a final judgment in October.

Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, said his client opted not to refile in order to "preserve appeal rights," adding, "We remain fully committed to pursuing the truth through every legal and factual avenue available and look forward to our day in court."

Lively's witness list for the case includes several high-profile names such as Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman, Emily Blunt, and Gigi Hadid. The trial is scheduled for March 2026.
