Glenn Close is responding to the critics. Following the Nov. 4 launch of Kim Kardashian's new series All's Fair, Glenn supported her costar and the legal drama.

"I swear to God, I've seen all nine episodes, and it's pretty fucking good," she told the Guardian in a recent interview. "It is what it is: it's juicy and outrageous at times and touching."

Although Kim, who plays attorney Allura Grant alongside Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash, has less acting experience, Glenn is unconcerned with her resume.

The 78-year-old continued, "She surrounded herself with really good people."

And it's been especially enjoyable to collaborate on the Hulu original with the Kardashians actress, who has three children with ex-husband Kanye "Ye" West: North, 12; Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5.

"She's lovely," Glenn exclaimed. "Also really smart. She is quite conscientious with her children. When we were filming, she was working on her legal degree and had flashcards near the end."

"She now has her law degree," she said, "and I asked her if she was going to practice. And she replied, "No, I just want it in my back pocket."

Kim hasn't been rattled by the harsh reviews for Ryan Murphy's series, and she has provided her own humorous answer to the unfavorable feedback.

"Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!?" the 45-year-old teased on Instagram Nov. 6. "All's Fair is streaming now on @hulu and @disneyplus."

Along with Glenn and Kim, people behind the scenes defended the series, including director Anthony Hemingway.

"You're not going to please everybody," he told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month. "You may have some criticisms, but there are millions of others who enjoy it. I believe the show reflects each viewer. It's all about whether you can connect to it, relate to it, and recognize yourself.

He went on: "It may be out of your league, it may not be anything you can connect to, and I think that goes for anything that gets presented on screen."
