Priyanka Chopra Jonas has addressed ongoing speculation surrounding her marriage to Nick Jonas, making it clear she no longer pays attention to the chatter. Speaking in a recent cover interview with Variety, the actress said, "We're eight years in. If people want to keep waiting for it to implode, that's their choice. I stopped thinking about it."

The couple married in 2018 and share a four-year-old daughter, Malti. Chopra Jonas acknowledged their relationship attracted scrutiny early on, including claims it was staged or unlikely to last. "I don't know what was it about us that rubbed people the wrong way," she said, pointing to "the intercultural nature of it — different countries, different religions, age gap." She described the attention as painful at the time, but added that both chose to focus inward, explaining, "...we both, instead of looking out, just sort of looked at each other, and we were like, 'It doesn't matter.' So it's like water off a duck's back now."

Reflecting on their whirlwind romance, she noted they married "really quick, within six months of meeting." Chopra Jonas admitted she initially questioned whether her husband's personality was genuine, recalling, "When I first married him, I didn't know if it was even real... But Nick has this absolute sincerity. It inspires me every day." She also praised his upbringing, saying his parents are "the most wonderful, levelheaded, absolute saints." For his part, Jonas described his wife in three words: "Driven. Creative. Fearless."

Beyond her personal life, Chopra Jonas continues to navigate an international career that spans Bollywood and Hollywood. She has spoken candidly about her discomfort with being described as a "crossover" success, explaining, "I have a tumultuous relationship with that word... It almost sounds like where you were wasn't good enough — and that's never how it felt to me." Her trajectory has included leading roles in projects such as Quantico, The Matrix Resurrections, and The White Tiger, as well as a brief attempt at a pop music career. "For a hot minute — and then quickly realized I should go back to acting," she said.

Her latest film, The Bluff, sees her portraying a sword-wielding mother protecting her child in the Caribbean and arrives on streaming in February. The project is followed by the second season of Citadel and an upcoming role in S.S. Rajamouli's next film. While her career continues to evolve globally, Chopra Jonas' response to personal speculation remains straightforward — she has chosen to tune it out and move forward.
