Bad Bunny is releasing more photos.
Following his record-breaking Super Bowl halftime concert, the Grammy winner deleted his Instagram profile, leaving just a link to his 2025 album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, in his bio. He returned to Instagram to mark his 32nd birthday.
Bad Bunny (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) smiled over his heart-shaped chocolate birthday cake while wearing a black suit with a white button-down underneath in a now-deleted March 10 photo. He just titled the upload "32."
And the "Turista" singer is happy for reasons other than his birthday. After all, hours before deleting his profile picture, unfollowing all of his connections, and clearing his Instagram feed, he took the 2026 Super Bowl by storm with a culturally rich halftime performance at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. on February 8.
Bad Bunny donned an all-white attire and launched his powerful performance with "Tití Me Preguntó" amid a sugar cane field.
His set—which eventually included older men playing dominoes, toddlers sleeping on chairs at parties, and people eating piragua—was a love letter to Puerto Rican culture. He even incorporated a real-life wedding ceremony between songs.
For the happy couple, Elisa Aparicio and Thomas Wolter, the experience was a dream come true.
“I’ll never forget the feeling,” Eleisa told the New York Times of the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity during an interview last month. “They were like, ‘Benito wants to capture real people, real emotions, and real love.’”
In the recent Super Bowl halftime show, a dynamic performance featured special guest appearances from celebrities such as Cardi B, Alix Earle, Jessica Alba, Pedro Pascal, and Karol G, who brought energy to the set’s casita. The main acts, Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, also delivered memorable performances, contributing to an electrifying atmosphere. Following the game, which saw the Seattle Seahawks triumph over the New England Patriots, it was reported that Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny achieved a viewership record of 4.175 billion across various platforms, including global and U.S. broadcasts, YouTube, and digital media within just 24 hours, as confirmed by Roc Nation.
Bad Bunny, who attended the 68th GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles on February 01, 2026, expressed his intent to honor his heritage during the show. He emphasized the significance of celebrating his roots and mentioned that a plethora of guests would join him on stage, describing them as family, friends, and representatives of the Latino community that has supported him globally. This focus on inclusivity and cultural representation marked the performance as a celebration of community and artistic expression.
