Alex Cooper may be a devoted fan of Hannah Montana, but even she admits she does not know everything about the show's music. During a recent conversation with Miley Cyrus, she owned up to forgetting some lyrics, and Cyrus was quick to call her out in a playful way.

Cyrus, who recently sat down with Variety ahead of the upcoming Hannah Montana 20th anniversary special, reflected on her time portraying the iconic Disney Channel character. As part of the feature, she was also tested on how well she remembers lyrics from songs she performed during that era. The segment highlighted just how familiar she still is with the music years later.

One standout moment came when Cyrus effortlessly recalled lyrics from the hit track Rockstar. She recited a line that includes references to Tai Chi and snowboarding, then pointed out that Cooper, who is hosting the anniversary special, had once struggled to remember that exact lyric. Cyrus explained that she had asked Cooper about the song before and discovered she did not know that specific line.

What made the moment more amusing is that Cooper has a tattoo inspired by the song. Cyrus joked about the contradiction, noting that it was surprising for someone to permanently honor a lyric without fully remembering it. The exchange added a lighthearted tone to the conversation and showed the easy rapport between the two.

In the same interview, Cyrus spoke about working with Cooper on the anniversary project, crediting her for helping shape the special in a way that reflects what fans want to see. Cooper's perspective as a longtime viewer played a key role in guiding certain creative decisions.

Cyrus also revealed that Cooper helped bring Selena Gomez into the project. Gomez, who previously appeared on Hannah Montana as a rival pop star, will be part of the celebration. Cyrus shared that she had not fully realized how meaningful her friendship with Gomez was to fans until Cooper highlighted it.

The upcoming special, set to premiere on March 24, will celebrate the legacy of the beloved series while revisiting memorable moments and relationships from its run.
