Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have officially stepped into a new chapter after welcoming their first child together. The couple announced the arrival of their baby girl in a heartfelt Substack post, sharing their excitement with fans.
"Our baby girl has arrived!!" they wrote. "We're feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes."
The news comes months after Steinfeld first revealed her pregnancy in December through a personal newsletter marking her 29th birthday. As part of a list of meaningful moments from the past year, she included a video of herself in the snow with Allen, who was seen kissing her baby bump. The couple later shared the clip on Instagram, with Allen responding in the comments, "I love you ."
In the months leading up to their daughter's arrival, both Steinfeld and Allen spoke openly about preparing for parenthood. During a January press conference, Allen shared how excited he was about becoming a father, noting that it's something he takes great pride in and that they would figure things out as they go. He also described fatherhood as the most important role he will ever have.
Steinfeld also opened up about how preparing for motherhood has changed her emotionally. In her Beau Society newsletter, she described the experience as surreal, saying it has made her more aware of how her life is about to grow in meaningful ways as she gets ready to welcome a child she already feels deeply connected to.
The couple, who began dating in 2023, tied the knot in California in May 2025. Since then, they have continued to share glimpses of their journey together, including hints about their baby, such as a sweater embroidered with "Baby Beau," a nod to Steinfeld's childhood nickname.
