Caitlyn Jenner has pursued a financial claim against the estate of Sophia Hutchins following Hutchins' death in July.

According to documents obtained by E! News, Jenner filed a creditor claim in November seeking $439,095.88 in unpaid expenses. The claim was reviewed and later approved by Hutchins' estate on March 27, which means the estate has agreed to settle the amount owed.

Hutchins, who served as Jenner's manager and close friend, died at the age of 29 on July 2 after an ATV accident in Malibu. Her death prompted both personal grief and legal proceedings related to her financial affairs.

In the filing, Jenner alleged that the outstanding balance stemmed from a range of shared and personal expenses accumulated over time. These reportedly included significant credit card charges, cash advances, and legal fees. The documents detailed that Hutchins had made furniture purchases exceeding $250,000 using Jenner's credit and debit cards, along with additional transactions through online platforms such as eBay and Shopify. It was also claimed that Hutchins received more than $7,000 in cash advances from Jenner.

The claim further noted that the two had shared legal costs during their professional relationship. Jenner sought reimbursement of over $130,000 tied to those expenses, according to the documents. It was also stated that Hutchins had previously agreed to repay Jenner at a later date and had already returned $75,000 toward legal fees prior to her passing.

Representatives for Jenner and Hutchins' estate have not publicly commented on the matter following requests for response.

In the months after Hutchins' death, Jenner has spoken about coping with the loss of her longtime friend and manager. During a media appearance in August, she described the emotional difficulty of navigating grief and adjusting to life without someone who had been a significant part of both her personal and professional world.

Jenner and Hutchins first met over a decade ago through Hutchins' makeup artist. Their relationship developed into a close friendship and working partnership, with Hutchins eventually taking on managerial responsibilities for Jenner.

Authorities previously confirmed that Hutchins died after the ATV she was driving collided with a vehicle and went off a cliff in Malibu. The incident resulted in fatal injuries caused by blunt force trauma, according to reports from law enforcement.
