Justin Guarini now has a new idol in his life.
Indeed, the American Idol graduate secretly divorced his wife, Reina Guarini, nearly two years ago—but has since started dating Kim Walsh Phillips, his manager and business partner.
"Yes, we are very blessed to have a relationship that started first with the business we built together—working with entrepreneurs to grow their businesses," Kim told E! News, "and has since developed into a romantic partnership of love."
Justin, who came to popularity on season one of American Idol, began working with Kim as a keynote speaker in about 2022, according to her Instagram. The From Justin to Kelly star frequently appeared on her social media profile as they attended speaking engagements and business gatherings together.
TMZ acquired court paperwork showing that Justin filed for divorce from Reina in June 2024. The couple had been married since 2009 and had two sons together: William, 14, and Asher, 13. The singer was also the stepfather to Reina's 21-year-old daughter Lola.
However, their divorce was not formalized until a year and a half later, in December 2025, according to TMZ.
Kim became Justin's manager that same year, according to her Instagram, and their professional relationship evolved into a love one.
Since then, Justin hasn't hesitated to brag about his partner on social media. In fact, the 47-year-old recently bragged about how Kim, who also works as a business consultant, transformed his life for the better.
"Every day I get to be a part of and witness the life of one of the most extraordinary humans I've ever known," he said in a January Instagram post commemorating Kim's birthday. "Your heart, mind, generosity, and brilliance…" It honestly blows my mind."
"You are one of the smartest people I know, but what matters even more is how deeply you care," the Broadway performer said. How much do you give? How much you lift others. "You bring so much love into every room and life you touch, including mine."
Justin concluded his wonderful post by writing, "You've brought so much joy, purpose, laughter, and love into my world. I am a better father, creator, and human because of you—and I don't take that for granted for a second.”
“Happy Birthday, honey…thank you for being my partner in business, in life, in vision, and in love,” he added. “I’m endlessly grateful for you.”
