Savannah Chrisley understands what's best for her future.

And that includes freezing her eggs to prepare for whatever the future may bring. The Chrisley Knows Best alum revealed where she is in her journey on the April 14 episode of her podcast. Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley, saying, "We're just at egg retrieval."

However, not everyone in her family, including her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley, has been fully supportive. Todd, a guest on the podcast, expressed some reservations about the procedure but has insisted on being an active participant in the process.

"He called me during my first appointment yesterday," Savannah explained. "And the ultrasound tech was a huge fan, loves us, and is so sweet. And she inquired about you. And I said, 'Oh, he's already blown up my phone 15 times today.'"

Todd simply responded, "I was nervous. "I wanted to know every detail of what was going on.

While the 28-year-old, who has detailed her struggles with endometriosis since being diagnosed at 18, is the one going through this fertility journey, Todd has described feeling sympathy pains whenever his daughter has been ill.

"You told me that you had a cyst on one of your ovaries, and I feel like I have one on my testicle because you said you were having abdominal pains, and I felt it the night before," Todd said. "I think there's something to that because I feel all your symptoms."

While Savannah stated that her parents "have been great" about her decision to freeze her eggs, she did reveal that her father asked, "Why do you have to do this?"

"I just never heard of such a system," Todd admitted, "because, you know, when I was growing up, you screwed up and got pregnant, and I didn't mind. I have never had a problem getting someone pregnant."

Savannah has previously expressed a desire to freeze her eggs, stating that her experience with endometriosis and its associated procedures prompted her to consider it.

"I always thought I'd be a young mom," she told Life & Style in a 2020 interview, "so we definitely go in and do the talks of potentially freezing my eggs and just all the different options that there are."
