Prince William and Kate Middleton celebrated a major milestone in their marriage by sharing a new family photo of themselves cuddling in the grass with their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8.
The photo shows the family of five lying in a meadow together, George sandwiched between his parents, while Kate has Louis and then Charlotte on her other side. The family is all smiling broadly as they bask in the sun together.
Kate and William captioned the portrait, which they posted on their official Prince and Princess of Wales Instagram account on April 29, "Celebrating 15 years of marriage." They topped off the post with a red heart.
Throughout their nearly two decades of marriage, which began at London's Westminster Abbey in 2011, William and Kate have not only experienced the joys of parenthood, but they have also been each other's staunchest supporters as they navigated a life in the international spotlight.
And that support was never more evident than when Kate was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024.
In fact, when Kate revealed her illness in a March 2024 video, she stated, "Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance, too."
The first in line to the British throne, whose father, King Charles, was also diagnosed with cancer that year, has spoken about the importance of going through difficult times together as a family.

"I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had," he said during a Sept. 2025 episode of the Apple TV+ show, The Reluctant Traveler. "You know, life is sent to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are."
Kate, who recently revealed that she was in remission from cancer in early 2025, is grateful not only for the support of her family but also for the healing she’s found spending time in nature, paying homage to the natural world around her in a special message on her 44th birthday.
"Even in the coldest, darkest season, winter has a way of bringing us stillness, patience, and quiet consideration," Kate said in a voiceover to accompany footage of snowy landscapes in a Jan. 9 video. "Where the stream slows just enough for us to see our
own reflection, to discover the deepest parts of ourselves, alongside the whispers and the pulse of every living thing."
She went on, "I find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am. For the rivers within us flow with ease, fears are washed away, we cleanse and purify, find peace with our tears, and discover what it means to be alive, to be at one with nature—a quiet teacher and a soft voice that guides us in memory, assisting us in healing."
