Caitlin Clark is bringing a new chapter of her life and career into the literary world with an upcoming children's book inspired by her journey.

On Tuesday, Random House Books for Young Readers announced that the book will be released on November 3. Titled EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams, the rhyming story focuses on the idea that success comes from effort, persistence, and the support of others. The message is drawn from a phrase that hung in Clark's childhood bedroom, which read: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little EXTRA."

In a statement, Clark reflected on the inspiration behind the project and the people who have supported her throughout her career. She emphasized that while basketball has given her many opportunities, the relationships and encouragement she has received along the way have been just as important. She expressed hope that the book will remind young readers that they are not alone in pursuing their dreams and that putting in extra effort can help them achieve something special.

The announcement comes as Clark continues to build her profile both on and off the court. As a member of the Indiana Fever, she is preparing for her third professional season, which is set to begin on May 8, 2026.

Clark, a two time All Star, is looking to build on a challenging sophomore year that was limited to just 13 games due to injury. Despite the shortened season, she still delivered strong performances, averaging 16.5 points and 8.8 assists per game, reinforcing her status as one of the league's most influential young stars.

She recently returned to action during a preseason game on April 18, where she contributed seven points and four assists in the Fever's 109-91 win over the New York Liberty. The appearance marked an encouraging step back into competitive play after her injury setback.

Off the court, Clark has continued to expand her presence beyond basketball, including participating in events such as golf tournaments and engaging with fans in various public appearances. Her growing visibility has made her one of the most recognizable athletes in women's sports.

With her upcoming children's book, Clark is now extending her influence to younger audiences, aiming to share lessons from her journey in a format that encourages ambition, resilience, and self belief.
