Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are reportedly going through a rough patch in their relationship just five months after welcoming their daughter, Scottie Rose.

Sources familiar with the situation say the couple is dealing with challenges as they adjust to life as new parents, but they are trying to work through things together.

"There are issues, but they're trying to figure things out together," one source told PEOPLE, adding that they are currently focused on understanding where their relationship is headed.

Despite the difficulties, the pair are said to be aligned when it comes to parenting. Their daughter remains their top priority, and both are reportedly supportive of one another as they navigate this new chapter.

Davidson and Hewitt welcomed Scottie Rose on December 12, 2025, after first being linked romantically in March 2025. The baby was named after Davidson's late father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a firefighter who died during the 9/11 attacks.

Before becoming parents, the couple had appeared close, sharing vacations and attending events together, including Hewitt's baby shower where Davidson was seen celebrating alongside her.

In earlier comments, Davidson described new fatherhood as intense but rewarding, saying the couple had been in "survival mode" as they adjusted to parenting life.

While they are still working through challenges, those close to them say the situation may simply reflect the normal pressure of becoming first-time parents.
