Brooke Hogan is pushing back against online chatter suggesting she and her HGTV Rock the Block teammate Scott McGillivray are more than colleagues.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old singer shared a carousel of lighthearted photos featuring McGillivray and her husband, former NHL player Steven Oleksy, to shut down speculation.

"People looooove to speculate," she wrote, calling the rumors "mean and hateful" while noting their on-screen chemistry on Rock the Block.

She added that she would rather viewers focus on the humorous dynamic between the teammates, joking that her "hockey player husband" might end up stealing McGillivray's "sweet Canadian heart."

Photos from the post show McGillivray jokingly feeding Oleksy at a table and the two men posing with Hogan's twins Oliver and Molly.

McGillivray responded in the comments, laughing off the speculation, writing, "I never fed Brooke like this! Just Steve," followed by a winking emoji.

Hogan and McGillivray are currently competing together on Season 7 of Rock the Block, which pairs HGTV experts with celebrity partners renovating homes in Las Vegas.

McGillivray is married to Sabrina McGillivray, with whom he shares two daughters, while Hogan married Steven Oleksy in a private 2022 ceremony and they welcomed twins in 2025.

Despite the chatter online, both teams continue their run on the show, with early wins positioning them as strong contenders this season.

Piling on the speculation earlier in the week, social media users pointed to the pair's easy rapport on camera, which has translated into strong performances throughout the competition series.

The new season of Rock the Block places HGTV designers and celebrity partners in identical homes, where they must renovate rooms under tight deadlines and strict budgets.

Viewers have noted that Hogan and McGillivray's teamwork has stood out, helping them secure early episode wins and establishing them as frontrunners among the competing duos.

Both stars have emphasized that their relationship is strictly professional, with Hogan repeatedly pointing out that the rumors say more about internet speculation than reality.

Pride in the project remains high as filming continues, both teams focus on upcoming challenges renovation.
