Niall Horan has made it clear that he won't be attending Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz's upcoming wedding, despite his long history with his former One Direction bandmate.

During a recent appearance on New Zealand's The Edge Breakfast show, Horan was asked about the couple's engagement and whether he planned to be there for the big day. Laughing, he replied, "Alright, no, no, no. I am not going if that's what you are asking. I'm a busy man."

He added that while Styles' nuptials aren't on his calendar, he does have "a couple of mates of mine that are getting married so that's going to be very fun."

The radio hosts pressed him further, hinting at his past with Styles, but Horan brushed it off with humor: "Oh, right, no, no, no. I get it now. No, just mates of mine."

Styles and Kravitz's engagement was confirmed in late April, after the Big Little Lies actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring. A source told PEOPLE that the couple had shared the news with "a small circle" and that Kravitz had been showing off her ring to friends.
The pair, who have been linked since August 2025, sparked speculation when Kravitz stepped out with the ring on April 21. At the Met Gala earlier this month, her stylist cleverly layered jewelry to draw attention away from it.

Though Horan won't be at the wedding, he has shown support for Styles' music. Speaking about Harry's single "Aperture" from his latest album Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally, Horan said, "I'm delighted for him. Complete like, change of sound but yeah it's a banger, isn't it? It's gonna be great live."

Horan remembered the One Direction years as a whirlwind, saying the sudden fame often felt surreal. From the outside it looked chaotic, but for the band it was simply a fun ride. He and his bandmates tried to stay grounded by reminding themselves they were ordinary people in an extraordinary situation.
