The singer did not appear to attend Emme Muñiz's high school graduation in Los Angeles on Thursday, photos obtained by Page Six show — despite the 18-year-old's mother, Jennifer Lopez, grandma Guadalupe Rodríguez, twin brother Max and even former stepbrother Samuel Affleck all turning up to celebrate the milestone.
Emme, who uses they/them pronouns, was all smiles throughout the ceremony, dressed in a cap, gown, lei and a tan suit underneath. Max arrived in an all-black ensemble. At one point, Emme and Samuel, 14, were photographed huddled together peering at a phone — a warm snapshot of a bond that has clearly outlasted their parents' two-year marriage.
Lopez, 55, and Affleck split in 2024, but the blended family dynamic they built together has remained intact. Lopez was spotted shopping with Samuel as recently as September 2025, while Affleck praised the twins at a red carpet last year, calling them "wonderful" and Lopez "spectacular" and "great" with his kids.
The evening before graduation, Lopez got emotional during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revealing she had been "crying for two months" in anticipation of the twins heading off to college.
"They have big dreams," she said. "I just want them to be happy and go where they want to go and do what they want to do."
She also joked that the kids would eventually miss home once they discovered how small their dorm rooms were.
Reps for both Anthony and Lopez did not respond to requests for comment regarding his absence. Anthony also did not appear to publicly acknowledge Emme's graduation on social media.
Anthony and Lopez share Emme and Max, born in 2008, three years before the former couple split. Anthony has five other children from previous relationships and is currently expecting his second child with wife Nadia Ferreira.
