Authorities in Los Angeles have arrested the son of actor James Handy's girlfriend following the death of the veteran film and television actor, who was found stabbed outside a residence in a shocking incident that has left Hollywood in mourning.
Police responded to an emergency call on Wednesday morning after a distressing 911 message was received. According to reports, the caller made a cryptic and alarming statement before officers arrived at the scene, prompting an urgent response from law enforcement.
When authorities reached the property, they discovered 81 year old James Handy unconscious in the front yard with a stab wound to the chest. Despite rapid medical attention and transport to hospital, he was later pronounced dead.
