Céline Dion has a devoted fan in Adele, who credits the legendary singer with influencing her approach to music and her love of emotional ballads.

Dion, 58, appears on the latest cover of Harper's Bazaar, where Adele, 38, reflected on the impact the "My Heart Will Go On" singer has had on her career.

"My love for ballads is definitely a direct pass down from her," Adele told the publication, pointing to Dion as a major influence on her musical style.

The British singer also praised Dion's theatrical personality and emotional approach to performing.

"She's dramatic," Adele said. "And I love being a drama queen."

The two stars have shared several memorable moments over the years. In October 2024, Dion attended one of Adele's Las Vegas residency performances at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, the same venue where Dion previously held her own long-running residency.

Adele became visibly emotional when she spotted Dion in the audience. She left the stage and embraced the singer in a tearful reunion that quickly became a memorable moment for fans.

Following the encounter, Adele shared a heartfelt tribute to Dion on Instagram, explaining just how meaningful it was to perform at the Colosseum.

"I have been performing in Celine Dion's room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now," Adele wrote. "It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her."

Adele also revealed that she keeps a photograph of Dion beside the stage and touches it before every performance.

"I have a picture of her right next to the stage that I touch every night before I walk on," she wrote, adding that Dion's surprise appearance at her show was an unforgettable moment.

"I love you so very very much," Adele continued. She described seeing Dion return to the venue with her family as a deeply emotional experience and said it was an honor to perform in a space so closely associated with the singer.

Dion is preparing for a series of performances in Paris beginning next month, followed by a three-week Las Vegas residency in May.

The upcoming shows mark an important return for Dion, who publicly revealed her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome in 2022. The neurological disorder forced her to step away from performing for a period.

Reflecting on her return to the stage, Dion told Harper's Bazaar that she wants to reconnect with her audience.

"It's been so long, I would like to offer them something to show how I've missed them," she said.
