Kelly Osbourne has revealed she has gained nearly 30 pounds after a difficult year marked by the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne, and her split from former fiancé Sid Wilson.

In an interview with The Sun published October 10, the 41-year-old opened up about her dramatic weight loss, which drew attention when she appeared at the 2026 BRIT Awards in February.

Looking back at photos from the event, Kelly admitted she was surprised by how much weight she had lost.

"I didn't know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures," she said. "When I saw them, I couldn't f--king believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else."

Kelly explained that her weight loss was not the result of an eating disorder but came during a period when she was struggling to look after herself. "It wasn't an eating disorder. I just couldn't do anything for myself," she said. "Eating made me feel like I wanted to throw up."

Her father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, died on July 22, 2025, aged 76. Kelly also went through a breakup with Wilson, with whom she shares a three-year-old son, Sidney. She described the past year as "the worst year" of her life, although she said the experience had also changed how she viewed grief.

"In so many ways, I can't even explain to you," she said. "But it's also been really beautiful because I've learned that my grief is an honor, as I truly love someone that much."

During her lowest moments, Kelly said she turned to her late father for help. She explained that she often practises candle magic and believed Ozzy had told her he would send her messages.

"It felt like everything inside me was dead, and I didn't want my son to see me like this," she said.

Kelly recalled visiting her father's grave with a white candle and writing a wish asking him for help. The following day, her mother, Sharon Osbourne, arrived with Chris Miller, a therapist and life coach whom Kelly credits with helping her through the difficult period.

She said Miller helped change her life "in so many ways I never thought possible."

Kelly also addressed the criticism she received online over her appearance, saying people had little understanding of what she was going through privately.

She also denied having plastic surgery, saying she had only received Botox between her eyebrows and in her jaw to help with teeth grinding and migraines.
