Artist Sabrina Carpenter is set to release a new espresso-flavoured ice cream, inspired by her hit song "Espresso." Following the song's widespread success, especially on TikTok since its release in April, Carpenter announced the collaboration with ice cream brand Van Leeuwen on her Instagram Stories on June 8.

Carpenter shared her excitement with her fans, posting, "Available starting JUNE 28th!!!!!" alongside a photo of herself holding a lavender-blueish carton of ice cream adorned with her image from the single’s cover art. Another Instagram story slide featured the open carton, revealing chocolate-swirled ice cream, with the caption "It is that sweet," referencing lyrics from her song: "Now he's thinkin' 'bout me every night, oh/Is it that sweet? I guess so," and "Say you can't sleep, baby, I know/That's that me, espresso."

The collaboration with Van Leeuwen, known for its renowned tasting ice cream and aesthetically pleasing packaging, has generated considerable excitement among fans. They are eager to add the limited-time offering to their collections as unofficial "merch." Despite Van Leeuwen not yet announcing the collaboration on their own Instagram account, the buzz is growing.

Unfortunately for fans in Malaysia, Van Leeuwen ice cream is not available there. However, there is a newly opened outlet in Singapore, offering a potential opportunity for fans in the region to try the new flavour.

This ice cream release is a fun next step for Carpenter, considering the success of "Espresso" and her expanding career. Adding to the excitement, Carpenter also announced her upcoming album, "Short n’ Sweet," set to be released on August 23.
