My, oh my, Camila Cabello knows how to put on a show. On Wednesday, June 12, the 27-year-old Fifth Harmony alum graced The Tonight Show stage, performing her single "I Luv It" from her upcoming album C, XOXO.
Cabello delivered an electrifying performance, blindfolded alongside her dancers and two robot dogs, bringing her hyperpop-tinged single to life. She wore a strapless mini-dress with cascading gray fabric and knee-high boots, exuding style and energy.
At the end of her performance, host Jimmy Fallon bowed down and exclaimed, "That's how you do it right there!"
"I Luv It," featuring rapper Playboi Carti, debuted in March, ahead of the album announcement in May. Cabello shared the album cover—a close-up of her licking a lollipop that turned her tongue blue—on social media with the caption, "THE NEW ALBUM C,XOXO IS OUT JUNE 28TH."
The single debuted at No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, and Cabello first performed it live during Lana Del Rey's Coachella set in April. Reflecting on the song, Cabello said, "Certain things in our human realm make me feel like I'm in outer space, and incredible chemistry with someone is one of them. It's unsustainable, chaotic, and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT."
In an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Cabello discussed how collaborators Pablo "El Guincho" Díaz-Reixa and Jasper Harris helped shape her new sound. "I feel like I'm a weirdo, and that's the music I love and am proud of. Finding fellow weirdos like Jasper and Guincho allowed us to create something unique and fire," she said.
Prior to C, XOXO, Cabello released three albums: Camila (2018), Romance (2019), and Familia (2022).
