Elizabeth Banks and Jessica Biel recently took a break from filming their new Prime Video thriller series, The Better Sister, to attend Justin Timberlake’s concert at Madison Square Garden on June 25. This outing came just a week after Timberlake’s arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York.
Banks and Biel have been busy filming in New York City since June 17, but they made time to support Biel’s husband, Timberlake, as he kicked off his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. Banks shared her excitement on Instagram, posting a video that featured clips of Timberlake performing hits like “SexyBack,” “Mirrors,” “Rock Your Body,” and “My Favorite Drug”. She also included a selfie-style video of herself heading to the iconic arena, dressed in a vintage Miu Miu slip dress and Nikes, ready to dance the night away.
While Biel didn’t appear in Banks’ video, she was spotted in the crowd by other audience members. Real Housewives of New York star Jessel Taank shared a video on Instagram showing Biel smiling and dancing during the concert while sipping a drink. Biel also joined Timberlake backstage for a candy taste test, which he shared on his Instagram.
Despite the recent drama, Timberlake has continued his tour without any changes to his schedule. He resumed his performances in Chicago, telling the crowd that he’d had “a tough week”. A source close to the singer mentioned that Timberlake has no plans to alter his touring schedule, which will see him on stage through December.
Biel, who has been married to Timberlake since 2012, was reportedly “not happy” about the arrest, as it became a distraction for her while she was on set. However, she remains supportive of her husband, with a source stating that she “loves” Timberlake and “will always be by his side”. The couple shares two sons, Silas and Phineas, and Biel is determined to keep the family’s focus on positive aspects.
The new series, The Better Sister, follows the story of Chloe (Biel), who navigates life with her lawyer husband and teenage son, while her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) struggles to make ends meet. The plot thickens when Chloe’s husband is brutally murdered, revealing long-buried family secrets.
As Timberlake prepares for his next court appearance on July 26, he continues to perform and connect with his fans, showing resilience in the face of personal challenges. Meanwhile, Banks and Biel’s night out at Madison Square Garden highlights their strong friendship and mutual support, both on and off the set of their new series.
