Emmy Award-winning comedian and former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah will return to host the 67th Annual Grammy Awards for the fifth year running. Taking place on February 2, 2025, in the Crypto.com Arena on Los Angeles, this event will see Noah return with his signature wit and charisma once again. In addition to hosting, he will co-produce the event as well, securing his key position in the show.
The Grammys take on a new sense of purpose this year, as the event will raise funds to support wildfire relief efforts and honor first responders who have put their lives on the line amidst the devastating blazes across California. To that end, Grammy Week has been scaled back, with three core events: the MusiCares benefit concert, the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala-now reimagined as a fire-relief fundraiser-and the awards show itself.
Trevor Noah has grown into a staple at the Grammy Awards, impressing with his quick wit, elegant improvisation, and ability to connect with both live and television audiences. Speaking earlier about the pressures of hosting, Noah once said to Variety, “You don’t want to disappoint the artists that you love. I cannot imagine telling a joke and turning to see Beyoncé scowling. That’s something I’d never recover from.”.
He Is serious about his performance, preparing well and showing respect to the artists. Noah has struck a perfect balance between humor and reverence, and that is what has made him a darling of both the fans and performers.
The 67th Grammys will, indeed, boast an A-list roster of performances and homages with a nominee class featuring a cluster bomb of music powerhouses: Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Post Malone. But leading the charge is Beyoncé with 11 nods for her culture-shifting album Cowboy Carter; all this piles her total career noms at an unprecedented 99.
Organizers are promising a spectacular with memorable performances, teary tributes, and surprises, keeping a constant eye on supporting relief efforts after destructive wildfires. “This year’s Grammys aren’t just about the celebration of music; they are using music as a way of bringing people together in service of a greater purpose,” said Harvey Mason Jr., chief executive officer of the Recording Academy.
It will be broadcast live on CBS and stream globally on Paramount+, allowing the rest of the world to tune into music’s biggest night. With Trevor Noah hosting and a rejuvenated sense of purpose driving the event, the 2025 Grammy Awards promise to be a spectacular evening well beyond mere entertainment.
This means that, until February, when a night of unity, art, and celebration of resilience goes down at Crypto.com Arena, anticipation keeps on building.
