Stevie Nicks has postponed the first two months of her 2025 North American solo tour after suffering a shoulder injury that requires time to heal. On August 1, her team announced via Instagram, "Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks' scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled."

The 77-year-old Fleetwood Mac frontwoman will not perform in cities including Detroit, Toronto, Brooklyn, Boston, Cincinnati, and Tampa during this period. However, fans can expect the tour to resume as planned in October, with her first show back set for October 1 in Portland, Oregon. "Please note that October dates will be unaffected," the statement clarified.

Ticket holders have been advised to retain their tickets, as "all previously purchased tickets will be honoured on the new date," with more information available at point of purchase. The message concluded, "Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone soon and apologizes to the fans for this inconvenience."

Nicks' injury update comes just months after she initially revealed the tour in April, expressing excitement about returning to the stage. At the time, she shared, "I couldn't wait to share these nights with you." Her solo performances were to run alongside earlier plans to tour with Billy Joel, who has also had to cancel upcoming shows due to health concerns.

In addition to the tour changes, Nicks has been focusing on creating new music. She recently shared that her next album took shape unexpectedly during a long stay in a hotel, where she was temporarily displaced due to wildfires in Los Angeles. The time in isolation inspired her to return to songwriting, leading to what she now refers to as a deeply personal project.

According to Nicks, the album in progress will be different from her past work. This new material draws directly from her own life experiences and relationships, with each track built around specific memories and people from her past.

At the same time, speculation about a possible reunion between Nicks and her former musical partner Lindsey Buckingham has been gaining traction. The buzz began when both artists shared matching lines from their 1973 track "Frozen Love" on social media within hours of each other. The posts sparked fan theories that the duo, once known as Buckingham Nicks before joining Fleetwood Mac, might be planning a collaboration.
