Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny capped a triumphant night at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas by taking home five trophies, solidifying his position as a global music powerhouse just months before his highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance.
His biggest win came In the coveted Album of the Year category, awarded to his latest project, Debí Tirar Más Fotos. The album, which blends Afro-Caribbean rhythms, salsa, reggaetón and live instrumentation, has already proven to be one of his most ambitious and celebrated works.
In addition to Album of the Year, Bad Bunny claimed four more awards including, Best Urban Music Album, Best Reggaetón Performance, Best Urban Song, and Best Urban/Fusion Performance. These wins showcase his dominance in urban Latin music and proves his ability to innovate within his genre.
During his acceptance speech, Bad Bunny took a moment to dedicate his Album of the Year win to “all the youth of Latin America,” noting that “there are many ways to be patriotic … we chose music.” The heartfelt message emphasized his deep connection with his roots and his commitment to representing Latin culture on a global scale.

His Latin Grammy win comes after a year of major achievements. The album Debí Tirar Más Fotos earned him twelve nominations this year and he’s also been nominated for six Grammy Awards in the U.S., including across major categories like Record, Album and Song of the Year.
