The newly released trailer for the second part of season four of Emily in Paris promises exciting twists for fans of the show. Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, is venturing beyond the borders of Paris to explore the romantic city of Rome. This season introduces a new love interest, Marcello, portrayed by Eugenio Franceschini, who will lead Emily on a fresh adventure in Italy.

For the past three and a half seasons, viewers have followed Emily's journey of love, work, and self-discovery in Paris. She has navigated complicated relationships, including her romantic entanglements with Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). In the first half of season four, Emily chose Gabriel over Alfie, but her love life is far from settled. The new trailer reveals that Gabriel and Camille (Camille Razat) are expecting a child together, which leaves Emily feeling conflicted.

This emotional turmoil sets the stage for Emily's decision to embark on a spontaneous trip to Rome. Encouraged by her best friend, Mindy (Ashley Park), Emily takes on a new business assignment to persuade Marcello to join Agence Grateau. But as always, Emily blurs the lines between business and pleasure, exploring Rome's iconic landmarks and developing a deeper connection with Marcello.

The trailer teases breathtaking scenes of Emily and Marcello touring Rome on a vespa, visiting the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. Yet, despite the beauty of the Eternal City, Emily cannot escape her past in Paris. As she enjoys her Roman adventure, she is reminded that "all roads lead to Rome," and it seems her choices in love and work will soon come to a head.

Marcello poses a pivotal question to Emily: "Which city do you prefer? Paris or Rome?" The answer may shape Emily's future, both professionally and romantically. Fans will have to wait until the release of part two on September 12 to see how this thrilling new chapter unfolds.
