The ballroom is about to get a whole lot more star-power this season on Dancing with the Stars. On September 4th, ABC and Disney+ revealed the celebrity contestants set to compete for the coveted mirrorball trophy in Season 33.

The lineup includes a diverse array of personalities, from reality TV staples to Olympic medalists and even a recently convicted con artist. "When four athletes, an ex-con and a few reality stars walk into a ballroom, you know it's going to make for riveting television," said executive producer Conrad Green.

Leading the pack is Anna Delvey, the infamous "fake heiress" whose story captivated audiences in the 2022 Netflix series Inventing Anna. Delvey, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, will be paired with new pro dancer Ezra Sosa. "I'm looking forward to showing the world a different side of myself on the dance floor," Delvey said in a statement.

Another notable pairing is Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, who will dance with pro Val Chmerkovskiy. "I'm excited to trade my peach for a mirrorball," Parks quipped. The duo will no doubt bring plenty of drama to the ballroom.

On the athletic side, the cast includes Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik, known as the "pommel horse guy," who will dance with Rylee Arnold. According to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Nedoroscik's performance helped propel Team USA to their first gymnastics team medal in 16 years at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

NBA champion Dwight Howard, who won a title with the Lakers in 2020, is also set to compete, dancing with pro Daniella Karagach. "I'm ready to show off some new moves on the court...I mean, the dance floor," Howard quipped in a video message.

Rounding out the eclectic cast are familiar faces like Beverly Hills, 90210 star Tori Spelling, paired with Pasha Pashkov, and Family Matters patriarch Reginald VelJohnson, dancing with Emma Slater.

"This season is shaping up to be one of our most exciting yet," said Carrie Ann Inaba, who returns as a judge alongside Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. "With this diverse group of celebrities, I have a feeling the competition is going to be fierce."

Dancing with the Stars Season 33 premieres on September 17th on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available the next day on Hulu. Fans are already counting down the days until the glitzy grand entrance.
