Jenna Nicole Mourey, known professionally as Jenna Marbles, was a YouTube trailblazer. She launched her channel in 2010 and quickly gained a massive following for her funny and relatable videos, amassing over 20 million subscribers and garnering approximately 2 billion views as of 2020. Her videos, such as “How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking,” were her own style of comedy that people adored worldwide.

With the exception of Bill Hader's eagerly anticipated comeback, this SNL 50 show has almost everything. Numerous members of the Saturday Night Live cast from all seasons, including Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Pete Davidson, returned to the Studio 8H stage on February 16th for the show's 50th anniversary special, reenacting some of their most famous roles. There were a few noteworthy omissions, though. One cherished cast member who was absent, in addition to original cast member Dan Aykroyd, was Bill, who appeared frequently on the sketch comedy program from 2005 to 2013.

South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron, known for her roles in various films and Netflix's "Bloodhounds," tragically passed away at the age of 24 in her home in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Authorities have confirmed that she died by suicide, a heartbreaking revelation reported by multiple news agencies, including The New York Times and The Korea Times. The Korean National Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

Shakira has been hospitalized with an abdominal issue, and she will have to postpone her concert in Lima, Peru. The 48-year-old singer, who has been on her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour, shared the announcement via Instagram Stories on February 16, 2025.

This is the end of Seth Rogen and James Franco's stalemate. The actors, who broke off their friendship while starring on Freaks and Geeks in 1999, went to SNL 50: The Anniversary Special in New York on February 16.
