Laura Caron, who is currently 34 allegedly had a sexual relationship with a young boy believed to between 11 and 13 while working at NJ. It is believed that the relationship started after the boy’s parents allowed Caron to be the child’s mentor. The parents allegedly believed in Caron because she had previously mentored their oldest daughter. They also considered Caron as their family friend, therefore, they would allow them to spend the night at her house.
The “mentorship” and sleepovers went on for a few years. Caron popped out pregnant in 2019 and when the parents asked her about the father of her children, Caron alleged that the father was missing in action. The teen’s father came to realize that Caron’s daughter looked like his son, leading him to inform the police.
Laura Caron is currently facing 10 years in prison on rape charges. The teen, who is currently 19 came to Caron’s defense, arguing that she is not a predator, therefore should be released. He also alleged that he initiated the relationship with the then mentor.
“ They need to drop all charges. I wasn’t groomed or raped or manipulated by her. She never initiated anything. I started everything. If it was up to me, she wouldn’t be in jail. It’s been six or seven years. I’m 19 about to be 20. All of this started with a Facebook page from my father… I didn’t want her violated like that,” the teen told the daily mail.
He went ahead to express his love for Caron, writing, “This stuff is so deep. Like the world has no idea what she has done for my family. I love her with all my heart. She was there for me and my family.” Caron and her lawyers are trying to prove that the now 5 year old girl’s true paternity in hopes of saving and vindicating Caron.
