FORMER EL CHAPO LAWYER ELECTED JUDGE IN MEXICO'S CONTROVERSIAL VOTE

Former Peruvian President Ollanta Humala has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of money laundering. A court in Lima ruled that Humala accepted illegal funds from Brazilian construction company Odebrecht to finance his 2006 and 2011 election campaigns.
