Tiger Woods endured a challenging day at the Masters, marking his worst-ever score and dropping out of contention, while Scottie Scheffler holds a slim lead heading into the final round, eyeing his second green jacket.

Despite calmer winds compared to the previous day, Augusta's course remained formidable. Only Collin Morikawa managed to card a score under 70, placing him one shot behind Scheffler at six under for the tournament.
Woods struggled, posting a 10-over par 82, following his marathon effort the day before to secure his record-breaking 24th consecutive cut at the Masters. His physical fatigue was evident, with Woods admitting to reporters that he wasn't hitting or putting well and missed several makable putts.
Despite his disappointing performance, Woods expressed readiness for the final round, looking to rebound from his worst showing at the tournament.
The Masters has seen its fair share of legendary final rounds, and this edition seems poised to join that lore. With the top of the leaderboard tightly packed, the stage is set for a thrilling conclusion, reminiscent of past iconic moments.
Even Scheffler, the world No. 1, faced challenges, including a double bogey on the 10th hole. Max Homa, starting the day as a co-leader, finished in third place after a frustrating round, while Bryson DeChambeau dropped to fifth with a three-over 75.
Despite the difficulties, Scheffler remained composed, acknowledging the toughness of the conditions. Morikawa surged into second place with a three-under 69, while Masters rookie Ludvig Åberg finished the day in fourth, three shots off the lead.
The final round promises excitement, with the action kicking off early in the morning and culminating in the afternoon showdown between Scheffler and Morikawa. As the sun rises on Sunday, golf fans eagerly await the conclusion of what has been a compelling tournament at Augusta National.
