Red Bull and Max Verstappen are celebrating this Sunday, after the Dutchman won a 10th consecutive race by finishing first at the Italian Grand Prix.
This means Verstappen has broken the F1 record for consecutive wins, overtaking Sebastian Vettel's record.
The world championship leader started second on the grid and, following an abandoned start due to Yuki Tsunoda's engine failure on the formation lap, Verstappen tried to overtake pole-sitter Carlos Sainz at the first corner. But, the Ferrari held on to the lead, to the delight of the Monza crowd.
Sainz was able to hold off Verstappen for 14 laps, but the Dutchman eventually pulled through and he didn't look back.
A Red Bull 1-2 finish
Making it even sweeter for Red Bull, who have still won every race this season, was the fact that Checo Perez managed to come through and take second place.
That left the two Ferrari cars fighting for a spot on the Monza podium, with Sainz holding off Charles Leclerc to take third.
At the top of the drivers' championship, Verstappen now leads Perez by 145 points, meaning he is closing in on a third consecutive championship thanks to this 10th consecutive win.
