Co-op Live is a black box next to Manchester City’s football ground, which has been officially opened, has a capacity of 23,500, and aims to attract many major events from London. It will be officially opened by comedian Peter Kay on Tuesday. Various stars are also lined up to perform there, including Olivia Rodriguez, Eric Clapton, and Liam Gallagher.

As we experience another week of thrilling football, we are graced with the knock-out stages of the UEFA Champions League. The French leaders Paris Saint German took on Spanish heavyweights Barcelona in a span of two legs. The first leg ended in a loss for the French at their home stadium. They lost 2-3 seeing former Barcelona player Ousmane Dembele scoring against his former team and then proceeding to celebrate.

Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged victorious in a legal dispute against his former club, Juventus, concerning nearly €20 million (£17m/$21m) in frozen wages. The saga unfolded as Ronaldo took Juventus to court over unpaid wages during the Covid-19 pandemic, a move that has now resulted in a significant legal victory for the veteran player.

The Premier League title is once again in arm’s reach for Manchester city after an eventful weekend. The League leaders played on Saturday with Luton town and managed to deliver a 5-1 thrashing at their home stadium. In pursuit for the title they hoped and prayed that their challengers choke on the challenge.

A night to forget for the Premier league side Liverpool as they were thrashed 3-0 at their home stadium. The visitors came in intimidated by the auras of the players together with their fans. For the first thirty minutes, the home side dominated possession and looked very comfortable moving forward.
