Mel B has spoken out following reports that she and Geri Horner, her bandmate from the Spice Girls, had a chilly reunion at Victoria Beckham's birthday party.

After Mel alleged in a recent interview that Geri had lied about her age, the two are believed to have had a heated confrontation before avoiding each other at the party.

Mel seems to have reached out after the party, posting a group photo of herself and her Spice Girls pals on Instagram.

She wrote, 'What an amazing girl power weekend with all my girls. I have so much love and respect for you all, #friendshipneverends.'

Despite being at different ends of the line, Mel and Geri reunited for the opulent party at Oswald's in London, where they also took a group photo with Emma Bunton, Victoria, and Mel C.

The Sun reported that Geri Spice and Mel B, both 48, were feeling tense after Mel claimed Geri was not 51 years old. Despite their time together, Geri kept her passport close to her chest, making her unsure of her age. The pair reportedly kept their distance at Victoria's party before Mel B tried to offer an olive branch.

Mel attempted to reconcile with Geri at a party, but things didn't go as planned. Geri seemed uninterested in her comments and left. When taking their group picture, Geri kept her distance from Mel, making it awkward. Geri wanted to celebrate and have fun with everyone, not discuss embarrassing things she had said about herself.

MailOnline has reached out to Mel B and Geri's representatives for comments.

Later that evening, the ex-band was spotted singing their 1997 hit song Stop together on video that David Beckham had taken after they posed as a five for a picture. Once more, though, the two were at different ends of the line.
