Former “Too Hot to Handle” star Harry Jowsey recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with skin cancer. In an April 26 TikTok video, Jowsey shared his health journey after a recent visit to the doctor."There isn't really an easy way to say this, but last week, I went to a dermatologist to get my skin checked and they found some skin cancer on me," he said.
Jowsey explained that during a routine checkup, doctors found a cancerous mole on his shoulder. Shockingly, he had been unaware of it for a year or two saying "I've had this on my shoulder for, like, a year or two." The news came as a surprise to the TV personality, who quickly reassured his followers that he would be okay. In the video, he emphasized the importance of skin health and urged viewers to take precautions.“I just wanted to make this post to let you know that summer is around the corner. Please wear sunscreen. Please go get your skin checked,” he said in the video.
“If you’re freckly little frog like me, go get a mole map and get your body checked because you never know,” Jowsey advised. He stressed the significance of regular skin checks and sunscreen use. Skin cancer can be a silent threat and early detection is crucial for successful treatment.
Jowsey’s candid revelation prompted an outpouring of support from fans and fellow celebrities. Harry Jowsey’s Dancing With the Stars partner Rylee Arnold commented "I’m so relieved that you’re okay! Sending all my love your way!” while the Perfect Match castmate Dom Gabriel expressed his support by writing, “Love you, brother.”
