The Sports Illustrated model discovered cracked eggs all over the yard the day after she revealed that their pet duck was expecting some adorable little ducklings.
Brittany posted an explanation on her Instagram Stories on June 5th, saying, "It was a raccoon at 4:30am this morning." "I'm so sad."
On June 4, she posted a picture of the eggs along with the announcement that their pet duck was expecting nine babies to Instagram Stories. I'm eager to see them. She did, however, share a sad update stating that her mother duck had lost one of her eggs.
Brittany said, "One of the eggs was broken." "I think she literally took it away, and then there were eight."
The Mahomes family has other pets besides their duck, though. In actuality, the couple—who have a 3-year-old daughter named Sterling Skye Mahomes and a 17-month-old son named Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III—also has dogs named Steel and Silver.
In fact, Brittany believes that their animal friends helped her get ready for motherhood.
In May, Brittany told E! News, "It helped a lot." "I believe that having to take care of something at all times helped me with my kids, made me the caregiver that I am, and made the transition a little bit easier. I got Steel when I was in college. "They're obviously very different," she acknowledged. "Dogs are a lot easier than kids, but I think it definitely prepared me for the responsibility and always having to take care of someone."
However, she and Patrick, who are both 28 years old, are also aware of the advantages that owning pets has brought to Sterling and Bronze.
Brittany continued, "It does teach them responsibility." "And being gentle and being nice and kind."
