The most recent update on his family can make Clint Eastwood cry like a man. June 15, one month after they announced they were expecting their first child together, saw the marriage of his daughter Morgan Eastwood, whom he shares with his ex-wife Dina Ruiz, and Tanner Koopmans.
In a June 26 interview with People, Morgan stated, "It was just immediate family and their partners, close family friends, and best friends we've known our whole lives growing up in Carmel."
Morgan looked stunning at the wedding, which took place at Mission Ranch in Carmel, California. She wore an off-the-shoulder gown that Sarah Seven created, which she claimed fit her pregnancy "really easily." To round off the look, the 27-year-old wore her curly hair with a lengthy lace veil. Tanner, on the other hand, went with a traditional black suit and black bowtie.
The pair grinned as they sliced into their tiered wedding cake and leaned their heads towards one another in a photo from the event. On June 18, Morgan posted a romantic picture to Instagram with the remark, "Our perfect day."
Morgan told People, "We wanted every element to feel as relaxed as possible." "I did my own makeup and hair, chose some inexpensive earrings the week of, and threw on a pair of velvet heels I’d previously worn."
Although Morgan acknowledged that the wedding was "very European-inspired and so perfect," she also acknowledged that hosting a reception for 130 people was not part of her initial plan.
"My husband wanted a bigger celebration, but my initial goal was to elope," she revealed. With a large family like mine, our wedding was as private as it could be while being vibrant, so I think it was the ideal transitional event."
Dad Clint, who is also the father of children Laurie Murray, 70, Kimber Lynn Eastwood, 60, Kyle Eastwood, 56, Alison Eastwood, 52, Scott Eastwood, 38, Kathryn Eastwood, 36, and Francesca Eastwood, 30, was undoubtedly among those in attendance, as was mother Dina, who was ecstatic about her daughter's special day.
Dina wrote, "If there is such a thing as perfection, we all just experienced it," beneath Morgan's photo on Instagram. "On this side of the moon, you two are the most adored pair. We adore you a great deal."
