Vanessa Hudgens is blossoming into a mother like a butterfly. According to a knowledgeable source who spoke to E! News, the high school musical actress gave birth to her first child with her husband, Cole Tucker.

The child of the pair is accustomed to big Hollywood moments because Vanessa previously made her pregnancy known on the red carpet of the 2024 Oscars. Before presenting ABC's The Oscars Red Carpet Show, the former Disney Channel star joyfully clutched her growing belly in front of photographers while wearing a black Vera Wang turtleneck gown.

At Vanity Fair's annual Oscars after-party later that night, Vanessa showed off her growing baby bump once more while walking the red carpet in a black see-through Alberta Ferretti outfit. The 35-year-old, who posted pictures of herself on Oscar night to Instagram, remarked at the time, "One for the books."

Similar to her stunning pregnancy announcement, Vanessa and Cole's love story defies convention. After all, it was during the COVID-19 pandemic that they first connected via a meditation group call led by Jay Shetty.

In a December interview with Vogue, Vanessa said, "I was literally on the Zoom with my girlfriend, and I started hitting her, asking who he was, and she had never seen him before." "So I proceeded to look on the Zoom square to find out his name and found him on Instagram—and he sent a DM the next day."

The Sucker Punch actress, who had dated Austin Butler for over nine years, found herself at the start of something new shortly after their early 2020 breakup. "I believe I recently discovered my future husband," Vanessa said, recalling how she called her sister after their first weekend together on an April 2023 broadcast of Today With Hoda & Jenna. "The foresight!"

Cole was also in the game from the beginning of their relationship. Not long after the couple made their Instagram debut on Valentine's Day of 2021, he openly used the L-word.

The baseball player said to KDKA that same month, "I got a girlfriend, and she's cool." "She is outstanding. I treasure her.

Two years later, during a romantic trip to Paris, Vanessa and Cole's romance reached a new height when they became engaged.

When asked about the proposal, Vanessa told Vogue, "It's the most romantic city in the world." "I was taken aback. I hinted it would be the perfect location, but I kind of forgot about it because I didn't want to go into the vacation with any preconceived notions. I was simply going to appreciate it as it was, and I was very taken aback by him."

Regarding their nuptials, It was precisely what they were searching for. Seeing Cole at the end of the aisle, according to Vanessa, was the "most emotional moment of my life."

She recalled their Dec. 2 wedding, which was attended by some of her old HSM coworkers, saying, "I literally keeled over when I saw Cole and had to take a big breath and had to force myself to keep walking because I could have dropped to the floor." It exceeded my expectations beyond measure. Though I expected it to be spectacular, it was far beyond my expectations."
