Kris Jenner's health journey has taken an unanticipated turn. Not long after revealing her intention to remove her ovaries because of an organ tumor, the reality star made the decision to remove her uterus as well in order to "not give anything a chance to grow anywhere."
On the July 11 episode of The Kardashians, Kris confessed to pals Kathy Hilton and Faye Resnick, saying, "I'm going to have a hysterectomy." "It started out as just getting some ovaries removed, and then today I got a phone call."
According to the 68-year-old, her doctor's recommendation to have her ovaries and uterus removed is "the best thing" for her permanent health.
"They discovered an issue, and our goal is to resolve it," said Kris, the mother of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner. "I'm going to remove something that gave me six of the best parts of my whole life."
Despite telling her friends she was "fine" with the entire process, Kris acknowledged in a confessional that she was "very sad" over the closure of a chapter in her life.

Kris is aware that her friends and family are there for her, though. In a sneak peek for the July 18 episode of The Kardashians, Khloe and Scott Disick paid the mother a visit while she was recuperating at home.
"I feel fantastic now that my surgery is over," she exclaimed to the cameras.
