Jennifer Lopez is getting loud about how she's spending her summer, emphasizing quality time with her stepdaughter, Violet Affleck. Despite recent rumors surrounding her relationship with husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer has demonstrated that her bond with his children remains strong.
On July 13, Jennifer shared a video on her Instagram Stories showcasing a sunny car ride. In the clip, the "Let's Get Loud" singer smiled as the wind whipped through her hair. She then panned the camera to the back seat, revealing 18-year-old Violet, who Ben shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Violet was seen looking out the window next to her friend Cassidey, whom Jennifer tagged in the post. The video, set to The Kid LAROI's song "Girls," was adorned with heart emojis, a graphic reading "summertime," and an animated sun.
This outing with Violet is just one way Jennifer has been enjoying her summer. She recently wrapped up a trip to Italy and France and spent the Fourth of July with her and ex Marc Anthony's 16-year-old daughter, Emme. Jennifer and Marc are also parents to Emme's twin, Max.
Jennifer's time with Violet comes just days before she and Ben celebrate their second wedding anniversary on July 16. The couple wed in a private Las Vegas ceremony in 2022, followed by a larger celebration with family and friends a month later. Despite speculation about the state of their marriage, fueled by solo red-carpet appearances and outings without their wedding rings, Jennifer and Ben continue to show their commitment to their blended family.
Recently, the couple listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale at $68 million, adding to the chatter about their relationship status. However, they have consistently supported their family, attending several outings together over the past few months.
Jennifer has made it clear that she is not letting rumors affect her. In her OnTheJLo newsletter last month, she wrote, "Don't let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there." Despite the noise, Jennifer Lopez remains focused on her family and enjoying her summer to the fullest.
