Chris Hemsworth is known for his action-packed roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but off-screen, he’s a loving husband and father. On July 18, Hemsworth, 40, celebrated his wife Elsa Pataky’s 48th birthday with a touching Instagram post, showcasing their deep bond and playful relationship.

Hemsworth shared four adorable and humorous photos of Pataky, accompanied by a sweet message: “Happy birthday to this gorgeous lady ❤️❤️@elsapataky.” The first snap captured a behind-the-scenes moment from the set of ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’, where the couple worked together. In the photo, Hemsworth, dressed as his character Dementus, embraced Pataky, who posed as one of her two characters in the film, Mr. Norton. Their smiles radiated joy and mutual admiration.

The second photo offered a glimpse into their family life, showing the couple enjoying dinner with their three children: daughter India Rose, 12, and 10-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan. This rare family photo highlighted their strong family bond and the fun they share together.

Another picture showed Pataky sweetly smiling amidst a backdrop of rocks and shells, capturing her natural beauty and love for nature. The final photo was another behind-the-scenes shot from the set of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, where Pataky made a cameo appearance as Wolf Woman, while Hemsworth reprised his iconic role as Thor.

In addition to these snapshots, Hemsworth expressed his appreciation for Pataky’s support throughout his career. Speaking to PEOPLE in early May, he shared that working together feels like a date night, saying, “I love it. I love spending time with her...especially in a creative space.”

At Hemsworth’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Ceremony in late May, he publicly thanked Pataky for her unwavering support, acknowledging the sacrifices she made for his career. "I want to say thank you to my beautiful wife, who has been here for my entire career basically by my side, endlessly encouraging and supportive,” he said. “And it doesn’t get lost on me that she put aside her own dreams in order to support mine and, again, [I am] forever in your debt.”

The couple, who met in 2010 and tied the knot within months, have built a strong and loving family. Their first child, India, was born in 2012, followed by twin sons Tristan and Sasha in 2014. Hemsworth’s birthday tribute is a testament to their enduring love and partnership, both on and off-screen.
