After a series of contentious arguments, Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice and his fiancée Molly Brown are rumored to have broken up for the second time.
After dating for three weeks in February of last year, the couple reignited their romance earlier this year. However, they have since deleted any references to one another from their social media profiles.
Giovanni left Strictly in May amid claims that he had harassed his celebrity partner Amanda Abbington. According to people close to the relationship, he has been "under a lot of stress" and the two have had several disagreements.
The source stated: "After their initial breakup and subsequent reconciliation, Giovanni and Molly became extremely close very quickly."
Their partnership has been incredibly intense. However, they have lately started rowing again, and earlier this week, they decided to call it quits.
"Molly has shown Giovanni a lot of support, but it has taken a toll because he has been under a lot of stress lately." They have attempted to try again in the past, so it's not out of the question that they will do so when some time has passed.
Italian dancer Giovanni Pernice and model Molly have rekindled their romance after a brief split. Giovanni was suspended from Strictly while a BBC probe investigates claims of off-camera misconduct by Amanda Abbington and two other former celeb partners. Abbington is furious about Giovanni's request for rehearsals to be recorded.
Giovanni's lawyers promise not to be cancelled and will clear his name and cooperate with the BBC's inquiry, hiring Schillings, a law firm known for defending celebrities.
BBC is seeking evidence from Giovanni's dance partner, Rose Ayling-Ellis, regarding his behavior during the 2021 series. Giovanni is cooperating with the process and is committed to clearing his name and defending his rep against accusations.
Amanda, a former dancer on Good Morning Britain, has been criticized for allegedly leaving her bruised after being stamped on her foot. The scandal intensified after footage revealed former professional dancer James Jordan threatened to 'drag her across the floor and scream at her' if she forgot her moves.
A 2006 clip from Strictly Come Dancing features James rehearsing with actress Georgina Bouzova, allegedly threatening her with 'kill you' and ignoring her pain. James left the show in 2012 and banned Georgina from eating sweets and chocolate. However, he criticized the BBC for releasing the clip, claiming it was not related to Georgina.
BBC has denied allegations of abuse and bullying against professional dancer Graziano, claiming the footage was edited for entertainment and exaggerated. He claims no celebrity partners complained about him during his eight-year stint on the show. A third dancer has been named a 'person of interest'. BBC bosses are introducing additional steps to strengthen welfare and support on the show.
New measures include a production team member present during rehearsals, increased support for celebrity contestants and professional dancers, and additional training for the team and crew.
