Vanessa Bryant and her daughters enjoyed an exciting weekend in Phoenix, Arizona, attending the WNBA All-Star Game. Vanessa, 42, along with her daughters Capri, Natalia, and Bianka, were seen sitting courtside at the star-studded basketball event on Saturday, July 20.
Vanessa also brought the family's adorable pup, Zuki, who watched the game from a Gucci dog carrier, as shared in an Instagram Reel post by Vanessa. Her youngest daughter, Capri, 5, had a heartwarming moment with top overall pick Caitlin Clark on the sidelines before the game began.
In a video shared by the WNBA on X (formerly known as Twitter), Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark greeted the Bryants at their courtside seats and chatted with the girls. Clark and Capri even compared their matching pink sneakers, a special edition of Kobe 6s that Vanessa had gifted to the all-stars ahead of the game.
Vanessa was also seen spending time with close friends Sabrina Ionescu and Diana Taurasi, with one photo showing Vanessa and Taurasi embracing on the sidelines.
This year's WNBA All-Star Weekend featured an exhibition game with two teams: Team USA, composed of stars named to the Olympic team including Taurasi, Ionescu, and MVP A'ja Wilson, and Team WNBA, made up of all-star players not selected for Paris.
The weekend marked the first All-Star selection for Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese. Reese and Clark, known for their budding rivalry from their collegiate careers, thrilled fans during the game when Reese scored off a Clark assist over Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner.
After the game, Reese expressed her excitement in a postgame interview, saying it was "so cool" to play alongside her friendly competitor. "When she gets the ball, I'm running looking for it because I know she's gonna throw it. She's been great to play with," Reese said. She added, "Hopefully in 4 years we'll be Olympians together."
