Christina Hall referred to "an insecure man with a large ego" just one day after her estranged husband, Josh Hall, returned to social media following his divorce filing.

Josh's post was a simple image of him walking in the woods with a praying hands emoji as the caption. In contrast, Christina shared a detailed statement.

"Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of 'how I was blindsided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch... Meanwhile, I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be," Christina's statement, written in white font on a black screen, read.

"I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children. Anyone who tries to take what they do not deserve, what they did NOT work for, should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try to derail you, but 'still I rise'," her statement continued.

The HGTV star concluded her post by addressing the divorce topic directly. "For those that aren't aware, divorces do not happen overnight, and there is always a breaking point. This one is personal," she wrote.

Josh filed for divorce on Monday, July 15, citing "irreconcilable differences" after nearly three years of marriage. He also requested spousal support. The couple secretly married in a courthouse ceremony in October 2021 and later celebrated with another ceremony in Hawaii in September 2022. Their "date of separation" was listed as July 8, 2024, in the filing.

Following the divorce news, an insider said that the couple "had issues in the marriage for quite some time."

Christina's first marriage was to her former Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa, with whom she shares daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, 8. Her second marriage was to Celebrity IOU: Joyride host Ant Anstead, with whom she shares a son, Hudson, 4.

Earlier this week, multiple sources confirmed that Christina was back filming The Flip Off, a show where she and Josh were set to compete in renovation competitions against El Moussa and his new wife, Selling Sunset alum Heather El Moussa — without him.

Tarek publicly voiced his support for his ex-wife in an interview with E! News. "I think life's tough, s--t happens. I think she's gonna get through this," he said. "We're here to support her. We got one shot at life; we gotta do what's best for us. Whatever she needs, we're here to help.
