Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen are still going strong, despite their unconventional new living situation. After The Real Housewives of Orange County star asked her boyfriend of four years and his three kids to move out of their shared SoCal home during the Bravo series' July 25 episode, the Bravo star gave a surprising update on their current status.
On July 25, Gina said of their relationship on Watch What Happens Live, "It's good; it's really good." "We had a bad year, and we’re still not through all of it, but we’re handling it well."
The 40-year-old also addressed rumors that their romance wouldn't last through the significant home shift, following costar Tamra Judge's prediction of an impending breakup.
Gina acknowledged, "I know that it does make sense to Tamra now, and I understand that it didn't make sense to everybody at first." I therefore can't bother about what other people think."
In the most recent episode of RHOC, Gina—who is separated from Matt Kirschenheiter and has sons Nicholas and Luca as well as a daughter named Sienna—explained why she believed it was best for Travis and his children, Bennett, Joseph, and Presley, to move out.
In her confessional, the real estate agent said, "It's about me and needing space from Travis' past." His former partner causes him and me great hardship, and he holds himself accountable for it. My three children and I will always come first in our household.
But Gina started to second-guess her choice while he was packing away his belongings.
She told Travis, "It's just hard to watch you move out of our house." We're not splitting up, and I don't want us to break up, so it's just weird.
What does Travis think about the emotional state of affairs?
He informed her, "I think you should stop saying this is about the kids because you made this decision." "I believe the children would prefer to be in this space as one, and I can’t say I disagree.”
Gina replied, “I don't want you to resent me because of this," before he ultimately left the residence.
