Brynn Whitfield offers a glimpse into her New York City apartment, which blends uptown elegance with downtown charm. In an exclusive PEOPLE Hollywood at Home video tour, the Real Housewives of New York City newcomer shares what she loves about her new space, decorated with the assistance of Minted, and reveals her co-stars' reactions.

Whitfield typically starts her mornings in her king-sized bed, checking emails and texts. "I do some doom-scrolling," she admits, though she notes that despite the room's moody wall color, Sulking Room Pink by Farrow & Ball, the atmosphere is cheerful in the mornings. "Everything here is very soothing and calming," she says, pointing to a pastel-colored painting.

Proudly noting her "zen" approach, Whitfield reveals she doesn't have a TV in her bedroom. However, a television in the adjacent sitting room can be seen from her bed. "I love binge-watching reality shows," she shares, "Just not my own, because that one's a bit scary."

Whitfield joined the revamped cast of the long-running Bravo series for its 14th season, which debuted in 2023. Her fellow cast members include Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, and Jessel Taank.

She points out that the sitting area in her primary suite is nearly the size of entire apartments she's lived in before. "I'm very spoiled to have an extra part of an apartment and a living room in my bedroom," she says. The Indiana native enjoys the convenience of moving between the two spaces and occasionally sleeps on her sofa. "It's comforting, especially if you're single," she remarks.

Another highlight of her home is a spacious walk-in closet, where she stores her favorite clothes, including the white Christian Louboutins that famously got stuck in an escalator at BravoCon. The closet also doubles as a gossip nook during her parties. "We sit in here and just gossip," she laughs. "We talk a lot of smack and spill the tea in here."

Regarding the Louboutins, she says, "They still exist. I actually tried to wear them the rest of the day. They kind of still work... I mean, at the end of the day, Loubs are Loubs."

Whitfield finds her apartment perfect for hosting, enjoying dinner parties with champagne and caviar. Fashion designer and RHONY co-star Jenna Lyons even helped her choose dining chairs. "Jenna Lyons' opinion means the most to me," she says, referring to the former J. Crew executive. "I'm like Jenna on a budget."

Whitfield mentions that she has welcomed all her castmates into her home, and they've had positive things to say. She notes that Erin Lichy and her children, Elijah, Levi, and Layla, have visited, adding that the kids love the space.

Previously, Whitfield told Arch Digest that she left her last apartment because her landlord wouldn't allow RHONY to film there. Her new home will appear in the show's upcoming 15th season. Although the apartment is a rental, Whitfield has personalized it to make it feel like her own, including repainting walls, adding crown molding and wainscoting, and installing brass outlet covers. She's also reintroducing wallpaper in a glamorous room that houses her vanity and "fancy" clothing.

"Sometimes I sit here and think, 'How did this happen? How am I so fortunate?'" she reflects. As her aesthetic evolves, Whitfield balances her love for uptown sophistication with her downtown roots. "I'm slowly moving uptown," she says. "The decor is getting a bit Upper East Side, but I still consider myself a downtown girl with a cool mix of modern and contemporary pieces.
