On August 3, Zendaya was present for her boyfriend Tom Holland's last performance of Romeo & Juliet at the Duke of York Theatre in London's West End. Smiling broadly, she was seen carrying a large bouquet of roses, presumably for Holland. She was dressed casually in a white tank top under a tan jacket, light denim jeans, and brown heels, carrying a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Tom Holland starred as Romeo alongside Francesca Amewudah-Rivers as Juliet in the production directed by Jamie Lloyd. Holland, who gained fame in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, began his career on stage, notably in "Billy Elliot the Musical". Zendaya has attended numerous performances, often making discreet exits with Holland due to the crowd outside the stage door.

In an April interview with Vogue Zendaya expressed her pride in Holland's work on the Shakespearean play, saying, "I could not be more proud of Tom's work on Romeo & Juliet. I'm going to try to see as many shows as I possibly can." She also expressed her admiration for how Holland managed the sudden fame that came with the release of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 stating, "One day you're a kid at the pub with your friends, and the next day you're Spider-Man. He handled it really beautifully."

A source told PEOPLE in April that Holland and Zendaya uplift each other, especially when Zendaya was stressed about her role in the sports drama Challengers. "Getting this role was a really big deal to her," the source added. "Her family's been super supportive, and Tom, of course. They're very, very cute together."

Despite their low-profile public persona, their relationship is serious, with discussions of marriage. Holland reflected on their bond, stating, "I'm lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. You can share your experiences, and that's worth its weight in gold."

The couple, who met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017, have often been seen publicly supporting each other's careers, sharing sweet moments and gestures of affection.
