Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are clearly on top of the world! On August 12, 2024, Perry, 39, posted an Instagram carousel of her and Bloom, 47, making a daring exit from a helicopter into the ocean. The first image captures Bloom taking a selfie as they leap from the aircraft.
The second slide features a video montage starting with Perry filming Bloom and the ocean, before turning the camera on herself. It then cuts to the couple on the helicopter's edge, with Bloom counting down before they jump. The video concludes with them resurfacing in the water.
The final slide is a dynamic shot of them mid-air during their jump. Perry captioned the post with lyrics from her new single, "Lifetimes": "Like the stars are in the sky. You and I will find each other. In every single life."
Before this adventure, Bloom was seen skydiving with Lauren Sánchez's son, Nikko Gonzalez, on August 8. Sánchez, 54, piloted the helicopter, and her video included scenes of Gonzalez and Bloom prepping for their jump, ending with a fist bump before they took off. Perry's "Lifetimes" provided the soundtrack for the video.
Perry had previously shared moments from their trip to Ibiza, Spain, on August 4, where her "Lifetimes" music video was filmed. Her Instagram post featured a sweet video of her and Bloom on a romantic boat ride, with Perry playfully calling him over for the camera.
Earlier in July, Perry posted a carousel of vacation photos, including a romantic video of her and Bloom kissing against a sunset backdrop. These glimpses of their time together highlight their adventurous and affectionate bond.
